ASTRAL WEEKS

-
Whilst working on a new piece for an upcoming show in LA I have been listening to Van Morrison's "Astral Weeks" repeatedly. It's an album I fell in love with instantly 8 or so years ago and is among a small stable of albums that never fail to inspire me.
-
I then read today that it was originally released in November 1968. I am well aware this album is widely considered a classic but with a culture so fixated with speed and the new trend it pleases me beyond belief that something nearly 41 years old remains quite so outstanding.

CHLOE EARLY & CONOR HARRINGTON / INTERVIEW

-
An indepth and honest interview with two of my favourite contemporary painters by Robert Phoenix (of Failed Rockstar) around the time of their joint show in LA at Kinsey DesForges Gallery. Well worth a read.

STINE

The lovely and talented Norweigen illustrator Stine Belden Røed has just launched her site. Looking forward to seeing what she comes up with in the future.
-
I met Stine through Magnus from Grandpeople who have recently opened a fantastic show at the Vallery Gallery in Barcelona - very much worth a look.
